Brad Hazelwood, President

Brad is a graduate of Henderson County High School and attended Western Kentucky University.  He has been a full time employee since 1974, first as a heavy equipment operator and job foreman.  Since 1989 Brad had been controlling daily operations, planning and bidding, buying equipment and is in  charge of all activities related to this business.

Anthony Hazelwood, Vice-President

Anthony is a graduate of Barrett High School and attended Murray State University.  He started Hazex Construction Company in 1949.  In complete charge of operations until 1989, when Brad assumed responsibility for daily operations.  Anthony now is an adviser and helps plan and bid jobs.

Ruth Hazelwood, Secretary/Treasurer

Ruth is a graduate of Paducah Tilghman High School and of Kentucky Wesleyan college in Owensboro, Kentucky with a Bachelor of Arts degree in business.  She taught business at Henderson County High School from 1965 to 1975.  Ruth has been employed full time as office manager at Hazex Construction Company since 1975.  She now has responsibility for general ledger accounts, insurance, bonding and related duties.

Charles P. Orth, Controller

Chuck is a graduate of Indiana University School of Business with a degree in accounting.  He has 17 years of accounting experience and more than 10 years of accounting in the construction industry.

Steve Beasley, Chief Estimator

A graduate from Bryan Station High in Lexington, Kentucky, Steve earned a Land Survey Technician degree in two years at the University of Kentucky.  He continued his education in surveying at Murray State University.  Steve has been involved in land surveying and civil engineering his entire career-- including survey, design and construction of highways, bridges, buildings, subdivisions, etc.  Steve now is chief estimator and is in charge of construction layout.  He is a member the Kentucky Association of Professional Surveyors.

Dustin Knight, Public Relations/Sales

Dustin received his Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from the University of Kentucky in 1999.  He gains new customers while maintaining good relations with existing customers. He has five years experience in sales and marketing.
